ABOUT US
Firefighter Owned and Operated Business
At The Palm Guys of St. Augustine, palm trees are our passion — and so is service. As current firefighters, we bring the same values to our palm care business that we live by in the fire service: reliability, precision, and a commitment to doing the job right.
We specialize exclusively in palm trees — offering expert trimming, safe removals, and overall palm health care. By focusing only on palms, we deliver results that are not just professional, but tailored to the unique needs of these iconic trees.
Locally owned and operated, we show up on time, treat every property with respect, and take pride in leaving things cleaner and better than we found them. Whether you're a homeowner, business, or property manager, you can count on The Palm Guys to bring care, quality, and a firefighter’s work ethic to every job.
Let your palms stand tall — we’ll take it from here.

WHO WE ARE
The Palm Guys is built on a solid foundation of friendship, service, and experience. We’re Paul and Luke — both active-duty firefighters serving our local community, and now, proud owners of a business dedicated entirely to palm tree care.
Paul brings 15 years of experience in the fire service and currently serves as a Captain. Luke has 7 years in and holds the rank of Lieutenant. We’ve spent our careers leading crews, solving problems under pressure, and doing things the right way — values that naturally carry over into the work we do with The Palm Guys.
Before this, we owned and operated Off Duty Tree Service, a full-scale tree company. We stepped away from it a couple years ago as life picked up — Luke welcomed another child, and Paul became a first-time grandfather. But that time away only reminded us how much we loved the work.
Now, we’re back — this time with a clear focus. We’ve narrowed our scope to what we enjoy most: palm trees. They're unique, they’re iconic, and they deserve specialized care. That’s exactly what we’re here to provide.
This business is personal to us — and every palm we trim, remove, or restore gets the same attention we’d give our own homes.
